Returning to the Felt Self
Somatic Therapy —
Internal Family Systems,
Shadow Work & Breathwork
For those ready to stop managing themselves and start inhabiting themselves.
The way in is through the body.
I work at the level of the body, nervous system and your inner emotional landscape, experience, and the deeper layers still waiting to be met.
This is not about fixing yourself,
It is about returning to yourself.
Depth is never forced here.
Somaaya is a grounded space to slow down and listen inwardly.
Healing isn’t something you “figure out” in your head.
It unfolds through the breath, sensation, emotion, and the nervous system learning it is safe to soften.
This work is slow, respectful, intuitive and body-led.
You might notice places where you hold your breath.
The moment your shoulders drop without trying.
A quiet inner ‘yes’ you can actually feel.
Who This Work Is For
This work may resonate if you’re:
living with anxiety, overwhelm, chronic tension or shutdown
feeling disconnected from your body, breath, or emotional life
already doing the work - but sensing something deeper is asking to be met
holding a lot for others, and rarely slowing down to meet and be with yourself
moving through a life transition, or patterns that keep returning
integrating experiences from therapy, retreats, breathwork, or altered states
How I Hold this Work
What You can Expect
I create a grounded space where you can safely begin to meet yourself.
Through breathwork, somatic awareness, parts work, therapeutic dialogue and shadow work, we gently turn towards whatever is asking to be seen — not to fix it, but to understand it, accompany it, and create the conditions for healing to unfold.
Every session is different because every person is different. Some people come with anxiety, overwhelm, grief or trauma. Others arrive with a quiet painful sense that they’ve lost touch with themselves. Wherever you are, we begin there.
Rather than trying to “fix” you , we meet your experience with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your nervous system’s natural pace.
Alongside our session, you’ll receive simple practices to support the work between sessions. The Felt Self Practice sits at the heart of this work — a daily invitation to pause, breathe, and cultivate a different, deeper and kinder relationship with yourself.
What You Won’t Find Here
I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions — this work complements, but does not replace medical or psychiatric care when absolutely needed.
Offer crisis intervention, If you’re in crisis, I will help you find the right support elsewhere.
Work from a fixed script — the process follows what’s alive in you, session to session, not a set curriculum.
Ask you to relive or perform your trauma. We move at the pace your system can integrate, we never push past it.
Promise quick fixes or overnight transformation. There simply is no red pill and healing requires commitment, discipline and a deep seated desire to change. Deep and lasting change usually happens through consistency, safety, and an ongoing deepening therapeutic relationship.
My role is to guide, support, and create the conditions for your own healing process - not to tell you what your experience should mean.
Where the body remembers, and you meet yourself
