Returning to the Felt Self
Somatic Therapy —
Internal Family Systems,
Shadow Work & Breathwork
For those ready to stop managing themselves and start inhabiting themselves.
The way in is through the body.
I work at the level of the body, the nervous system and your inner emotional landscape — meeting the deeper layers of experience that are still waiting to be felt and met.
This is not about fixing yourself,
It is about returning to yourself.
Depth is never forced here.
We listen for what is ready to be met.
Somaaya is a grounded relational space to slow down and listen inwardly.
Healing isn’t something you “figure out” in your head.
It unfolds through the breath, sensation, emotion, and the nervous system learning it is safe to soften.
This work is slow, respectful, intuitive and body-led.
You might notice places where you hold your breath.
The moment your shoulders drop without trying.
A quiet inner ‘yes’ you can actually feel.
Who This Work Is For
This work may resonate if you’re:
living with anxiety, overwhelm, chronic tension or shutdown
feeling disconnected from your body, breath, or emotional life
already doing the work - but sensing something deeper is asking to be met
holding a lot for others, and rarely slowing down to meet and be with yourself
moving through a life transition, or patterns that keep returning
integrating experiences from therapy, retreats, breathwork, or altered states
A grounded supportive space. A place where you can begin to meet yourself more fully.
An integrative, responsive approach. Through breathwork, somatic awareness, parts work, therapeutic dialogue and shadow work, we gently turn towards what is asking to be seen—not to fix or force it, but to understand it, accompany it, and create the conditions for healing to unfold.
A process shaped around you. Every session is different because every day is different. You may arrive with anxiety, overwhelm, grief or trauma, or simply with the quiet sense that you have lost touch with yourself. Wherever you are, we begin there.
Respect for your natural pace. Your experience is met with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Support between sessions. You may receive simple simple practices to support the work between sessions. The Felt Self Practice sits at the heart of this approach: a daily invitation to pause, breathe and deepen your relationship with your inner experience.
What You Will Find Here
Diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions. This work may complement medical, psychological or psychiatric care, but it does not replace it where that support is needed.,
Crisis intervention. If you are in crisis, I will help direct towards appropriate specialist support.
A fixed script or predetermined curriculum. The process follows what is alive in you from session to session.
Pressure to relive or perform your trauma. We move at the pace your system can integrate, without pushing beyond what feels safe or ready.
Promise quick fixes or overnight transformation. Healing asks for time, commitment and a relationship in which safety and trust can deepen. Lasting change is often gradual, unfolding through consistent contact with yourself and the work.
Tell you what your experience should mean. My role is to guide, support, and help create the conditions for your own healing intelligence to emerge.
