Ways to Work With Me
You’ve learnt to cope.
Now your body is asking for something deeper.
Somaaya is a body-first approach integrating breath, somatic and parts-based (IFS) therapy.
Grounded in nervous-system awareness, and paced with care.
Ways We Can Work Together
Parts-based therapy (Internal Family Systems)
These sessions focus on parts-based therapy (Internal Family Systems), relational and body-led, intuitive exploration and integration.
Sessions are 60-75 minutes and can take place online or in person (London)
This work is most effective when it unfolds over time. We can shape this together depending on what feels right for you.
Rather than offering separate “services,” I weave different doorways into the same integrated process — always guided by nervous-system readiness and what your system is asking for.
1:1 Somatic Therapy
What this therapeutic, body-led journey can support:
Nervous-system regulation
Supports your system to move out of chronic fight/flight/freeze or shutdown and into steadier baseline safety, resilience, and capacity.
Contained emotional processing
Helps emotions, sensations, and protective responses be met and released at a pace your body can integrate, without force or overwhelm.
Embodied self-trust
Rebuilds a reliable relationship with your body’s signals and inner “yes/no,” improving clarity and decision-making from a grounded place.
Integration of intense or non-ordinary experiences
Supports insights, imagery, and emotional material from breathwork, retreats, or altered states to settle, make sense, and translate into everyday
Therapeutic Breathwork
Breathwork is a simple doorway with surprising depth.
Used well, the breath can support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and a renewed relationship with the body — not by force, but by helping the system feel safe enough to soften and unwind.
At Somaaya, breathwork is body-led, trauma-informed, and integration-focused. I prioritise consent, pacing, and aftercare. Depth is available, but never imposed.
Sessions often begin simply - with breath awareness, sensing, and strengthening of internal safety. From there, the work deepens naturally as your systems learns to regulate itself and becomes ready for a deeper and more surrendered experience.

How I Work
My approach is body-first and relational. I work somatically - with breath, parts work (Internal Family Systems IFS), and somatic body-based process.
My practice is trauma-informed and shaped by what is present — not by rigid protocol. The focus is on creating the conditions where healing can emerge naturally:
Safety and nervous-system stabilisation before depth
Consent and choice throughout
Pacing that honours capacity and readiness
Attention to how the work lands in real life, and not just in-session
Integration as central, not optional
Depth at Your Pace
The emphasis always remains the same: safety, pacing, and integration over intensity.
Some sessions are subtle and quiet. Others are more cathartic. Both are valid. What matters is that the depth matches your system, and not an expectation.

No. Many people arrive feeling disconnected from their body, unsure where to begin or completely new to this kind of work.
Sessions are adapted carefully to your pace, capacity, and experience level.
-
Whether we meet online or in-person, we will always take time to check-in and catch up on how life has been feeling. We then drop into body awareness through breath or somatic exploration.
Integration and pacing is key to this work. -
The work and the processes are grounded in nervous-system awareness, consent, pacing, and attunement. We work with the body gently and collaboratively, rather than forcing catharsis or intensity.
-
IFS (parts-based therapy) is a slower moving ongoing relational and body-based exploration of your inner world.
Breathwork is a deeper experiential process.
Many clients move fluidly between the two modalities as needed.
-
We move at the pace of your nervous system, not at the pace of intensity. The goal is not to push through, but to build safety, awareness, and capacity over time and to allow your entire system to soften without collapsing.

Sessions are offered both online and in-person (North London, Muswell Hill).
Online sessions can be deeply effective and embodied when held with care and presence. Some clients prefer the comfort and familiarity of their own space to process. in during and after the session while others are drawn to the deeper container that is created in in-person work.
